Haunted Tours led by
Mindie Burgoyne

Chesapeake Ghost Walks

Author, Mindie Burgoyne takes guest on a journey that includes legendary haunted places and lesser known sites associated with mystical or paranormal activity.

She has recently crafted a series of Ghost Walks in small, historic towns on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Participants on the Chesapeake Ghost Walks will spend about 1 to 1.5 hours on a walking tour of towns that include Easton, Cambridge, Crisfield, Denton, Ocean City, Berlin, Pocomoke and Snow Hill. These walking tours allow guests to take their time wandering through some of the most beautiful towns in Maryland, while listing to stories about the people who lived there long ago --- and who evidently haven't left - even after death.   See upcoming tours.

Mindie Burgoyne has spent years researching haunted sites in Maryland, garnering information from public libraries, old newspapers, folklore collections, and residents.  Her research has been used by many other authors and media professionals including the National Geographic Television Network.  Her approach with each site follows a three-step process.

1. the history of the site
2. the haunted tale or legend associated with the site
3. what people say about the site today ... is it haunted?
