Mindie Burgoyne's new e-book, An Ireland Guide for the Sensitive Soul will be released on April 2012. All attendees of the May 1st presentation at Chesapeake College will receive a free copy upon its release.
Mindie Burgoyne has
been researching "thin places" or
mystical sites for last twenty
years, but the bulk of her research
has focused on Ireland.
Ireland is littered
with sacred sites charged with
spiritual power, and in this 2 hour
lecture, Mindie will take attendees
on a pictorial tour of some of the
country's well known and hidden
places thin places. Over 50
photographs taken by Mindie on her
previous journeys to Ireland will be
included along with her commentary
covering each sites history as well
as her own experiences - some
supernatural - in visiting the sites
she discusses.
Sites included in
the discussion are the Rock of
Cashel, Caldragh Cemetery, Hill of
Tara, Mount Brandon and the Dingle
Peninsula, Drombeg Stone Circle and
the West Cork Region, Lough Gur,
Croagh Patrick, Glen Columbkille and
Donegal region, Clonmacnoise,
Glendalough, Kildare, Holy Wells of
Sts. Brendan, Gobnait, Kieran,
Brigid and Dymphna ... and more.
Additionally, Mindie will share tips on travel to Ireland including driving, accommodations, using a phone, and money saving tips.
