Beginning Blogging - Online Class - - Online Class - 4 weeks. Paricipants attend video session (1hour) and spend about 4 hours per week on assignments. At end of 4 weeks participants will have set up a blog on WordPress, edited images, published 2 posts, learned basics of SEO and how to drive traffic to the blog.
Blogging for Business - learning the blogging platform and how a blog (short for web log) can become the personal "face" of your company, keep in touch with customers, attract attention and buzz and be a tool for continually driving traffic to your website.

10 Way to Maximize the Power of LinkedIn - Learn 10 different ways to grow a network, communicate with prospects, set up venues, learn about your industry and elevate your visibility using the free LinkedIn social media platform. (1 to 2 hour session)
30 Day Plan to Become a Facebook Pro - Learn how to construct a 30 day plan - customized for you that will allow you to create a winning Facebook profile and Facebook business page that will make you a magnet for opportunity and fit in with daily time constraints. (2 or 3 hour session)
Broadcast Yourself With You Tube, Vimeo, Vine and More- Learn to deliver your good news in a creative, entertaining way that prospects, customers and others in your network will enjoy. iMovie demonstation is included. Can also be applied to Windows Media Maker - this class only hints about the technical expertise needed (showing that anybody can do this). It's main focues is the creative process of promoting your brand through video platforms. (2 or 3 hour session)
Why Tweet? - Learn the basics of Twitter including finding followers, how to use hashtags, building a brand, crafting a tweet, using 3rd party software products (hootsuite, tweetdeck) to save time, tracking your Twitter effectiveness and powertweeting. (1 to 2 hour session)

Mindie started building social
media networks through Facebook,
Twitter and LinkedIn in February of
2009. Within one month she had
received offers to write for four
magazines and one book publisher.
She accepted the book offer and
Haunted Eastern Shore:
Ghostly Tales From East of the
Chesapeake for History Press.
This book was one of regional
interest to an area with a
population under 600,000. The
expected sales were about 1500
copies sold in the first year.
As she built her social network
she was able to accelerate the word
of mouth promotion for her book.

One month before the book was
launched (September 3, 2009), Mindie
began a Facebook Fan page for the
book and by launch date - October
1st, the Fan page had acquired 1000
fans. That number rose to 2000 fans
